Hypnosis F.A.Q.
F.A.Q.
Can I be hypnotized?
Yes, basically anyone can be hypnotized. If you want to be hypnotized and have the ability to focus then you are a good candidate for hypnosis. It does require something on your part, your commitment and desire to be successful. Also it is important to be sober for best results.
What is it like to be hypnotized? How does it feel?
Hypnosis isn’t actual sleep. It feels very similar to that hazy feeling that one feels before making it to sleep. You are aware of what is happening around you, you are just very relaxed.
Won’t being under hypnosis make me do things I don’t want to?
Your mind still works under hypnosis and can toss out or reject suggestions. It may act as a way for you to let your guard down though, and explore your fantasies more. However you won’t go run into the highway upon being told to.
Will I remember it when I come out of hypnosis?
You should remember all of what happens. Sometimes a lot happens in a session and it takes a bit of time to process it all.
How do I know if I am under?
Some things you may experience are: physical relaxation, heavy eyelids and the feeling of drowsiness, mental relaxation, distortion of time, feeling of detachment from the body, sensation of floating or dreaming, drifting off listening to the voice, uninhibited feelings.
Those are just some, there are many others.
If this is phone hypnosis what happens if we get disconnected? Will I be ‘stuck’ under hypnosis?
Not at all, you can’t get stuck in trance. If we are cut off for any reason you would either fall asleep or after a short time realize what was happening and simply come out of the trance.
